On macOS it captures through Apple's ScreenCaptureKit at your display's native resolution and 30 fps, so a Retina screen gives you every physical pixel. On macOS 13 or later, system audio records alongside your mic with no extra audio driver.
When you stop, the editor has already placed zooms on your clicks and typing. Smooth the cursor, generate captions with Whisper on your Mac, trim, then export MP4, ProRes MOV or GIF. Free exports are 720p with a small logo, Creator ($9/month) exports 1080p with no logo, and Pro exports 4K.
