FAQ
Questions, answered.
Can One Rec replace OBS for live streaming?
For a simple show with guests, it can. The Live studio is in alpha, though, and OBS is more mature, with plugins and finer control. If you already record and edit in One Rec, the studio saves you a second app.
Is the live streaming software free?
Yes, with limits. Free streams to 1 destination at 720p30 for up to 2 live hours a month, without guests. Creator ($9/month) adds 3 destinations, up to 6 guests and output up to 1080p30 or 720p60. You need an account to stream.
Can I stream in 4K?
No. Studio output tops out at 1080p60, which starts with the Pro plan ($19/month).
Press record.
