Can I record in 4K for free?
Yes, if your display is 4K. One Rec captures at native resolution on every plan, including Free. Free exports are capped at 720p with a small logo; 4K export needs Pro ($19/month) or Team.
Does One Rec record at 60 fps?
No. Screen capture runs at 30 fps. Paid plans can export at 60 fps, which keeps zoom and cursor motion smooth, but the screen content itself is 30 fps.
Will recording a 4K screen slow down my computer?
It can on older machines. Capturing a 4K display takes more work than 1080p, and recording doesn't use hardware encoding. Exports do use hardware acceleration where your machine supports it.
