1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using One Rec ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

One Rec is proprietary software. These terms govern your use of the Software.

2. License

One Rec is licensed, not sold. Subject to these terms, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software for lawful personal, educational, and commercial use.

You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Software except where required by applicable law.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use One Rec for any lawful purpose, including personal, educational, and commercial use at no cost. You agree not to:

  • Use One Rec to record content without the consent of parties where required by law
  • Distribute recordings that violate intellectual property or privacy rights of others
  • Misrepresent One Rec as your own product without proper attribution
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer proprietary components of third-party dependencies

4. Your Content

All recordings, exports, and edits you create with One Rec belong entirely to you. We claim no ownership or rights over your content.

One Rec processes everything locally on your device. We never access, view, copy, or store any content you create.

5. Disclaimer of Warranty

One Rec is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.

We do not guarantee that: - The Software will be error-free or uninterrupted - Defects will be corrected in a specific timeframe - The Software will meet your specific requirements - Recordings will be free from quality issues

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Damien Schneider or One Rec be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of the Software, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise.

This includes, without limitation: - Loss of data or recordings - Business interruption - Loss of profits or revenue - Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

7. Contributions

If One Rec accepts external submissions in the future, additional contribution terms may apply.

Any accepted submission must be your original work or submitted with permission from the rights holder.

8. Modifications

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.

Continued use of One Rec after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
